How to Keep the Computer Performance

Slow computer is one of the most annoying problem that must be solved. Slow computer can make our daily activity stuck, especially when we do some important task that must be completed, and how if suddenly your computer stuck, that will be sucks. To solve that problem, we must upgrade the hardware like ram, processor, and maybe graphic card. But if we don't some money to upgrade it or we don't have any choices to do, we must do the alternative ways. One way to do is

MAINTAIN IT PROPERLY

The way to make computer run better, is to maintain it properly. If we not maintain our computer properly, like not defrag the storage device, then will make the junk files pile up in each sector of the storage device, and it will make the computer run slower. There are many ways to do to maintain our computer. Here are the steps. 

UPGRADE THE OPERATING SYSTEM

Operating System is a program that supports computer basic functions, and also the intermediate one. The OS is used for executing programs, and also control peripherals like mouse, keyboard and others. Because of that, upgrade the OS is one of the important things to do. "Why ?" To run the latest applications / programs, what we need is the latest executor programs. 

I'll give you an example. So here, you have a computer that run a Windows Vista. And you want to run the latest Microsoft Office software, such as Microsoft Office 2016. The problem is you cannot install this program. If you install this, you will get an error. That's happen because you don't have the latest dynamic library that available on your operating system.

Upgrade the operating system maybe will need cost, and maybe that's not cheap. If you wont spend money for that, you can use the lighter OS like Linux. Linux is open source program that means you don't need spend money to buy this OS, because it's FREE. I recommend you to use Zorin OS or Ubuntu because these OS is very easy to use. But if you use Linux OS, the hardest thing is to install a program, because every program has a different code to install it. 

CLEAN THE HARDWARE

Dirty hardware also take effect on computer performance. Dirty hardware can make computer not working properly. Dirty hardware also can make the hardware damaged. Like in a vehicle engine, if there is a dirty component like on the filters, if there is no bypass that will make the engine stuck. So what must we do is clean it properly. 

The components that must be cleaned properly is a USB Port, and Fan. We must protect the USB Port from rust and dirt, because that can make the USB port not responsive, and also can damage the port. We can use the port plug to protect it from dirt. That's look crazy but that can make your computer protected.

Then, how if your fan stuck because covered by dirt. That is a big problem. That can make our processor, graphic card, and other component that cooled by the fan overheating. That can make the component damaged. What would you do if your computer damaged. So that, you must clean it properly.   

CLEAN UP THE STORAGE DEVICE

The last but not least is to clean up the harddrive. If you never clean up your harddrive, there will be a lot of junk files that pile up. And also if you never clean up your harddrive, your harddrive data will be fragmented that will make your computer run more slower. How you clean your harddrive is to defrag your harddrive weekly, so that your data will not fragmented. You also can use built-in programs to perform this action.

CHECK A THERMAL PASTE ON PROCESSOR(Need $$)

High-Temp can harm the computer processor. High-Temp processor also can make the computer not working properly. Usually, if the processor overheating, the computer will shutdown randomly. The general problem is because the thermal paste in a processor is exhausted. So that we must change it.
